Overview:

As part of the core structure within the MasterCard Europe organization, Global Customer Delivery and Care Europe (GCD&C Europe) serves as the key liaison between various divisions, including Operations and Technology, Global Products & Solutions, and other business units. We maintain a strong connection with both the markets and our customers.

In this dynamic operational environment, effective management of key metrics and financials is essential. The analyst role will play a critical part in supporting metrics management, ensuring the continuous alignment and performance tracking within the organization.\".


Role: PDE Metrics & Business Analyst

•\tAssist in the creation, automation, and maintenance of reports and dashboards that track GCD&C Europe metrics, providing management with valuable insights into business drivers, internal processes, and operations.
•\tContribute to in-depth data analysis, uncovering trends and key insights from the metrics to enhance decision-making.
•\tContinuously identify and pursue opportunities for automating reporting processes, aiming for a fully automated reporting system.
•\tSupport monthly billing and financial closing activities:
o\tCollaborate to ensure full recognition of implementation revenues, including accurate billing when applicable. Perform sanity checks and deep analysis on billing data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
o\tGain a comprehensive understanding of the Implementation billing process to identify any factors that may impact revenue collection.
o\tAssist with automating reclassifications during financial closings to ensure proper accounting and financial reporting.
•\tProvide backup support for the Financial Analyst in managing revenue deep-dive analysis and supporting P&L reporting for GCD&C Europe, ensuring reports are accurate, insightful, and tailored to different audiences.
•\tAssist with ad hoc pricing revisions, ensuring all changes are incorporated into reporting and financial models.
•\tActively contribute to enhancing the overall reporting framework, ensuring that metrics are aligned with business needs and objectives.

•\tA University degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
•\tDemonstrated customer focus, strong business acumen, and a results-driven, solution-oriented mindset.
•\tA collaborative team player who is always ready to lend a hand.
•\tA genuine passion for working with numbers and data.
•\tExcellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
•\tStrong documentation and communication abilities, ensuring clear and effective information sharing.

•\tProficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word).
•\tExtensive experience with Power BI and Tableau is essential.
•\tAdvanced proficiency in Python and/or R, with a preference for Python.
