Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: (10 hour shifts with 1 hour break) different shift patterns

\n

05:00-15:00, 08:00-18:00 and 10:00-20:00

\n

The roles are rotational, (Monday to Friday one week and one day off during the week, and working the Sunday)

Location: Enfield, North London (EN3 4NQ)

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

\n\nTransporting non-emergency patients to and from hospitals, clinics or other healthcare facilities\nWorking as a single or two-person crew, responsible for either driving the ambulance or supporting the travelling patient\nRegular heavy-lifting, using equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers and carry chairs\nAssisting patients in and out of the ambulance, ensuring their comfort and safety during transportation\nLiaising with healthcare professionals and other staff to ensure a high level of patient care\nCompleting patient documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner\nMaintaining the ambulance equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and in good working condition\n\n

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

\n\nA full UK driving licence is essential\nA caring and understanding nature, with friendly manner\nPrevious care-giving experience would be advantageous\nThe ability to work in a role that requires regular heavy-lifting of patients, as well as exposure to bodily fluids (including urine, faeces, vomit and blood)\nA calm and considerate driver with good knowledge of UK road signs and the Highway Code\nYou must pass a drug and alcohol test\nYou must provide your last 5 years of address history\nYou must provide your full employment history and CV (starting from day 1 of employment)\n\n
