Every day, more than 10 million tests are run on Abbott’s diagnostics instruments, providing lab results for millions of people.The Abbott Ambassador is a responsible for driving business success by increasing sales within existing accounts along with maintaining and driving strong customer relationships.  With a strong understanding of the sales process, lead generation and relationship building coupled with a deep appreciation of laboratory operation - you will utilise these skills to improve Abbott market position.Responsibilities:Account ManagementAbbott point of contact with current customersDevelop and implement Account Growth PlansMaintain accurate up to date customer dataCarry out Customer Operation/Business ReviewsIssue understanding and resolutionAccount GrowthMeet or exceed sales targetsIdentifies new sales opportunitiesEstablishes and builds value creation opportunitiesDelivers insights for operational improvementImproved asset utilisationActively engage with commercial team to ensure contract renewal and expansionCustomer Satisfaction/LoyaltyDevelop relationship with stakeholders inside and outside the laboratoryCoordinate with other team members and departments to optimise customer experienceMaintain a high account NPS. Participate and oversee post-sale activity and implementationIdentify customer training opportunitiesBuild image and brand in eyes of customerKey Performance Metrics100% renewal/retention of profitable businessIncreasing Instrument utilisation with additional businessNew Promoters Score
 Minimum Skills Required
 Relevant experience within either a pathology laboratory or allied health industry is highly preferredSales Experience is preferred but not essentialBachelor’s degree in Science/ MLS /Bio Medical / Medical Technology is preferred but not essentialQuality, Safety & Environmental ResponsibilitiesAttend regular departmental meetings with manager/supervisor to build in continuous feedback mechanisms.Meet the requirements of ISO and Class A by complying with all relevant Quality policies and procedures to ensure the Quality objectives of the business are met.Comply with all relevant company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and work practices with the intent of preventing or minimizing accidental exposures to self, colleagues and/or the environment.
