About the role:
We are seeking an AI Prompt Engineering Team Lead to guide our team of Prompt Evaluation Associates in developing and refining high-impact AI features. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for the technical direction of prompt engineering efforts, coaching team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality AI solutions. You'll work at the intersection of AI technology and practical implementation, driving innovation while maintaining operational excellence.
What you’ll do:
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Prompt Evaluation Associates. Develop advanced prompt engineering strategies and frameworks to optimize AI performance. Create and implement standards for prompt design, testing, and iteration. Craft, test, and improve AI prompts for data generation, automated evaluations, and Google production features. Review and approve prompts before implementation in production environments. Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to align prompt engineering with product goals. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in the prompt development process. Train and mentor team members on best practices in prompt engineering and LLM optimization. Stay current with the latest developments in AI and prompt engineering to maintain competitive advantage. Lead the crafting, testing, and improvement of AI prompts for data generation, automated evaluations, and production features. Oversee data analysis and contribute to algorithm improvements. Guide the team in identifying, diagnosing, and reporting software issues, providing actionable results. Ensure team members document configurations and provide detailed explanations for reference.
