**The Role**
The Corporate Agile Coach will be responsible for driving the adoption and implementation of agile ways of working across business functions and for helping to shape, codify, and scale agile practices at Hyatt. This role will be part of the **Capability Building Hub (CBH)** , which is dedicated to improving how our business operates through four key areas: focusing on outcomes, testing and learning, breaking down silos, and fostering a growth mindset—capabilities that empower our organization to adapt with speed.
This individual will serve as a mentor, trainer, and facilitator, helping teams and individuals develop the skills and mindset necessary for the successful adoption of agile ways of working. Coaches will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement, driving the adoption of desired practices and behaviors, and effectively communicating the “why” behind these practices to ensure sustained, positive change. The Agile Coach will also contribute to Hyatt’s overall agile knowledge base through the creation of educational content and the development of case studies.
The ideal candidate is a passionate and pragmatic agile practitioner with a proven track record of leading enterprise agile transformations, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. Critical success factors include the ability to drive and inspire change, lead through influence rather than authority, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
**Team and Department-Level Coaching**
+ Coach teams across diverse business functions in understanding and applying the mindsets, principles, and practices of Hyatt’s ways of working.
+ Collaborate with leaders and teams to align priorities with the organization’s strategic objectives and business goals.

+ Organize and facilitate workshops and learning sessions to help colleagues adopt agile practices.
+ Facilitate team-building activities, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies to promote collaboration, transparency, and effective communication.
+ Help teams foster psychological safety—creating an environment that encourages constructive feedback and measured risk-taking, where failures are reframed as learning opportunities.
+ Identify and address impediments that hinder team and organizational agility and performance.
**Coaching and Mentoring Agile “Catalysts”**
+ Coach and evaluate a rotating group of “agile catalysts”—Hyatt colleagues trained to champion agile ways of working within their business units.
+ Provide one-on-one and group coaching sessions to catalysts as they participate in training and apprenticeship programs.
+ Evaluate and support catalysts’ progress, offering feedback on their understanding and application of agile concepts.
+ Offer guidance and support to help catalysts overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
+ Foster community and a culture of continuous learning and improvement among catalysts.
**Contribute to the Agile Knowledge Base at Hyatt**
+ Support content creation for the Capability Building Hub’s online agile learning platform.
+ Document and share best practices, case studies, and lessons learned across the organization.
+ Act as a change agent, helping to overcome resistance and foster a culture of agility, flexibility, and continuous improvement.
+ Stay current with emerging agile methodologies, trends, and industry best practices to guide the enterprise transformation effectively.
**Contribute to Agile Culture at Hyatt**
+ Serve as a steward of the agile mindset, principles, and practices at all organizational levels.
+ Be a trusted facilitator, advisor, and coach—challenging leaders and teams to adopt new ways of thinking to build a high-performing organization.
+ Build influential relationships across Hyatt to support culture change.
+ Measure and report on the progress of the agile transformation, identifying and addressing areas for improvement.
