Accounts Clerk Receivables

Job Purpose

The Accounts Clerk Receivables will play a vital role in managing the company’s accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all outstanding invoices are chased effectively and accurately while maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

Contact customers to remind them of outstanding invoices and process payments. Maintain accurate records of communication with customers regarding payment issues. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing inquiries and disputes. Generate regular reports on outstanding receivables and assist in month-end closing activities. Monitor customer accounts to identify overdue payments and execute appropriate collection efforts. Escalate unresolved accounts to management and recommend actions for collection. Assist in the preparation of accounts receivable reconciliations. Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance team.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience Required

Minimum of high school passes including Mathematics and English. At least one (1) year of experience in accounts receivable or a similar role. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of accounting software will be advantageous. A background or certification in finance or accounting is a plus.
