YOUR TASKS

\n

Reporting to Finance Controlling Manager, you will be responsible to:

\n\nPerform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the company's financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements.\nEvaluate the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place and provide recommendations on how to improve internal controls and governance processes.\nEnsure Internal Audit Finding’s coming down every year or no surprises\n\n

Main Responsibilities:

\n\nReconcile accounts, post journal entries, and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the company has a full and accurate statement of its financial position.\nReview daily accounting work prepared by shared service center, including accruals, sales and expenses booking as well as various reconciliations and schedules.\nProvide advisory service to shared service center when necessary. \nPerform and monitor month-end closing activities.\nHandle Annual Operating Plan (AOP)/Budgeting.\nMonitoring Fixed assets and CAPEX review.\nPrepare functional review so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions\nAssist in process improvement projects and initiatives.\nAnnually review local policy/procedure.\nPerform internal audit and analysis on need basis e.g., FOC compliance usage review, employee discount report, MEVA, etc.\nEnsure internal control procedures are in place and in accordance with internal control framework including CRISP.\nLiaise with external auditors on financial reporting issues and internal auditors from regional / global office.\n

YOUR PROFILE:

\n\nMinimum bachelor's degree, in Accounting / Finance. \nProfessional accountancy qualification (having CPA or equivalent is advantage). \n5 years’ relevant experience in accounting and auditing, preferably in logistics / transportation industry or multinational companies\nFluent English (written and spoken).\n\n
