Job Overview
TE SENSORS is seeking an experienced and savvy Account Manager to join our sales team in the Southern California Region (Los Angeles/Orange County focused). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sensors sales, with a focus on industrial, medical, and Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M) customers. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building skills and an understanding of the Southern California market. In this challenging and rewarding position, you will be responsible for driving technical new designs in the customer base, building strong customer and regional distribution relationships, and growing revenue in the territory.
Location: Home Office in the Territory
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the Southern California region. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial, medical, and AD&M sectors. Drive the design-in and development of new products and/or platforms Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Able to understand, position and present TE Sensors products/solutions value proposition to align with customer needs Strong cross function collaboration skills required with Field Application Engineers, Product Management and Product Engineering teams to support and develop new programs with customers Coordinate with regional distributors and support focused local distributor branches / customers. Coordination with Customer Service, Operations, Quality and Plant Management to best serve customers. Monitor & communicate market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities. Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

Requirements:
5+ years’ B2B component sales experience is desired in Semiconductors or Sensors sales (Sensor experience preferred but not required) Understanding of Southern California territory and market dynamics. College degree: BS degree in Engineering and/or Business/ Marketing preferred. Willingness to travel within region (approx. 50%) and a valid U.S. Passport and Driver’s License Preferred to live in Los Angeles County The successful candidate will encompass the skills to successfully compete, and thrive, in a highly competitive market: A strong technical background (Technically Astute) Strong selling and presentation skills A solutions-oriented individual capable of looking not only at the component requirement but understating the system to offer full solutions where possible Strong Customer focus throughout all levels of management Ability to engage with Development Engineers and Purchasing Strong time management skills required for this remote position

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $121,000 – 181,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
