This is a fantastic opportunity to join our UK Aerospace and Defence Sales team selling a range of innovative and technologically advanced products and services to clients operating at the forefront of the Aerospace market. Based remotely and reporting to the KAM Defence UK Manager the position holder will act as the focal point for all sales and project related topics to a strategically important OEM in the EMEA region.
Emphasis will also be placed on developing & maintaining existing relationships with both the commercial teams and the design engineering departments within the allocated customer based.
Your main tasks:Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships across multiple customer sites through regular visits, emails, and calls to ensure ongoing support and communication.
Sales & Business Development: Promote TE Connectivity’s product portfolio and technologies, identify and convert sales opportunities, negotiate pricing, and provide quotations.
Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Prepare Strategic Account Plans, participate in customer business reviews, and contribute to IBP/S&OP sales forecasting.
Project & Market Analysis: Support complex engineering projects, conduct market analysis and platform mapping, and coordinate logistics and quality-related responses.
Reporting & Performance Tracking: Report monthly sales figures and project status to ensure transparency and track progress.
Your ideal background:
Sales experience in Aerospace & Defense would be desirable or similar markets
Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Technical/commercial education (e.g., Electrical or Aerospace Engineering) or 7+ years of relevant industry experience
Strong business acumen with a proven track record in business development
Strategic thinker with project management experience and ability to execute priorities
Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven in demanding environments
