Account Commercial Executive

Job Summary:

This is a direct selling and customer-facing role to maintain & grow existing customers and acquire new ones to drive revenue and market share growth.

The incumbent will plan and manage business development by building distributor capabilities and will be instrumental in delivering sales turnover, delivering Margins, distributor(s) management, account retention, and acquisition, and developing senior to middle-level business-to-business relationships.

Both internal and external cross-functional collaborations to build efficiencies across the value chain will be critical for succeed in the role.

The role will ensure maintenance of existing dosing and dosing control equipment, install new ones and respond to challenges in customer/end-user facilities. This will ensure that Diversey chemicals are dispensed to achieve superior results.

Responsibilities Include:

Customer Service & Business Development  - The incumbent will work closely with the distributor (s) to build capacity to ensure superior delivery of Diversey products and services to customers – this will be through staff training, products and D&D (FOL) forecasting, and building capability to deliver products and services On Time In Full. The role of other customer development activities as business needs may require from time to time. These will include but not be limited to products and service demonstrations, customer trials, etc. Will ensure there is in place a people and distribution structure that delivers marketing and sales development goals/objectives.The role will ensure that Diversey chemicals are dispensed so as to achieve superior results as per MSDS & PIS through double working with customer’s staff members. The incumbent will learn chemical and machine knowledge.Establish and drive agreed growth plans for both organic growth and new account acquisition that ensures sales objectives are achieved.Support and advice the distributor in sales forecasting based on customer consumption and ensure right portfolio mix.The incumbent will keep records of all dosing and dosing control equipment under the market within the assigned accounts. These records will include service reports. Keep records of all Planned Maintenance Schedules and respond to customer breakdowns within the agreed time Keep records of all Planned Maintenance Schedules and respond to customer breakdowns within the agreed time as required by the team leader.Develop an in-depth understanding of the local market and the competitive position and activities and report on competition activities and customer needs that are not met. To establish customers' critical needs in terms of product application.Work with Corporate and/or Strategic Account Managers to ensure account management support is delivered by account Managers as agreed. This will include stakeholder management through planned reviews and closure of action from such reviews.Perform opportunity analysis for margin improvement by managing product portfolio together with the respective country teams and distributors. The role will appreciate cross border trade regulations with the different trading blocks in the countries of operations.

Scope:

Southern Africa Cluster(Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Madagascar)

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a B2B set up

Degree in Engineering/electronics

He /she must be self-driven with a “can do” attitude and passion to achieve results under minimum supervision.

Must possess great interpersonal and communication skills

Must have technical skills
