We have central support functions of Human Resources, IT, Finance, Legal and Marketing & Innovation in the Rentokil Initial Head Office locations and in the country. You would be supporting the business in EAST AFRICA - Nakuru and Nairobi Kenya in Pest Control and Wash Department.

JOB PURPOSE

As a Sales Development Executive (SDC), you'll be the first point of contact for new prospects, responsible for building relationships and generating interest in our products & Services. Through effective communication and strategic outreach, you’ll identify and qualify new potential customers, setting the stage for our sales team to drive revenue growth.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prospecting:

Identify and research potential new customers through various channels, including LinkedIn,  databases, and cold calling. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.

2. Outbound Outreach:

 Execute effective outbound campaigns, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling.  Deliver persuasive pitches to generate interest and schedule meetings.

3. Lead Qualification 

 Assess leads based on predetermined criteria to determine their fit and potential value. Gather essential information about prospects, including their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes.

5. Sales Process:

   Guide prospects through the sales funnel, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.    Collaborate with the sales team to hand off qualified leads for closing.

6. Data Management:

   Accurately track and update customer interactions and pipeline activity in our CRM system.    Generate detailed reports on key metrics, such as call volume, email open rates, and meeting bookings.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

1. Number of Leads Generated (Monthly): Target of leads generated per month.

2. Qualified Lead Percentage: Percentage of generated leads that meet qualification criteria.

3. Lead Conversion Rate: Percentage of qualified leads converted into sales opportunities.

4. Outbound Call/Email Volume (Daily): Target number of calls/emails to generate and nurture leads.

5. Meeting Set Rate: Number of appointments or demos scheduled with qualified leads.

6. Lead-to-Opportunity Conversion Rate: Percentage of leads that advance to the opportunity stage.

7. Quota Attainment: Percentage of lead generation target achieved.

8. Pipeline Value: Value of potential opportunities in the sales pipeline attributed to the SDE.

Requirements:

Key requirements

 Proven track record in sales, preferably in a B2B environment. Computer Proficient Word, Excel & Powerpoint  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and time management skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a positive attitude.

Team Player: Able to collaborate well with sales, marketing, and other internal teams to optimize lead generation efforts and share insights.
