The development center of SAP in Bulgaria plays a key role in the defining and developing of the SAP Business Technology Platform. With its more than 1700 professionals, SAP Labs Bulgaria also has strong contributions toward life-cycle management, user interface & user experience across the broader portfolio of SAP products and business applications. Most recently, SAP Labs Bulgaria expanded in the topics of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. **What you`ll do**
You will be part of a 24/7 Cloud Operations team responsible for monitoring SAP cloud solutions. Your immediate action will be to restore availability in case of service disruption or degradation. The Customer Services & Delivery (CS&D) board area is responsible for the operations of SAP’s Business Technology Platform – the platform of the Intelligent Enterprise that includes technologies like SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics, and Intelligent Technologies. Our CS&D Core Cloud Operations team ensures 24/7 system monitoring, participates in incident management, and drives improvement via our problem management process. Therefore, your agility and ability to proactively learn and adapt will be key to your success.
**The Role**
We are looking for the next member of our team to join us and provide Service/System Monitoring for SAP’s Business Technology Platform and Cloud Integration Suite. You will have the opportunity to coordinate incident management efforts across the layers and development teams while also proactively driving continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform Service/System monitoring and Event Management
+ Perform Incident Management with low to moderate complexity and ensure customer SLAs are met
+ Execute predefined actions (Recommended Actions) to resolve incidents
+ Escalate major issues to the BTP Cloud Engineering or Development teams
+ Drive customer communication during critical events
+ Perform proactive Problem Management
+ Participate in Continuous Improvement activities
+ Engage in a cross-functional collaborative environment
+ Work in a shift-based model:
+ 2 day shifts from 07:00 AM to 19:00 PM
+ 2 night shifts from 19:00 PM to 07:00 AM
+ 4 days off
**What you bring**
+ BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or related technical field is a plus. We encourage candidates from all academic backgrounds to apply.
+ Essentialknowledge and at least 1-3 years professional experience in cloud platforms, cloud infrastructure and cloud technologies
+ Critical thinking and the ability to work efficiently in emergency situations
+ Experience in monitoring, analyzing, and solving problems in a cross-functional environment
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Fluency in English

• Experience working with tight deadlines. under pressure and working efficiently in emergency situations

Technology & Innovation Cloud Operations is a global organization spread in several locations like Germany, Canada, India, China and Bulgaria. In Sofia, we have our One Operations Center where we execute our mission critical activities. The position is part of the organization in Sofia, where we support different units like Analytics and Intelligent Technologies, HANA Cloud, Database Operations and Core Cloud Operations. These units are responsible for operating SAP Coud solutions on SAP's Business Technology Platform. The team works shoulder to shoulder with the Development units that develop these solutions to ensure best-in-class cloud service through safeguarding high availability.
