Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing as scheduled/needed to ensure that facility is kept in clean and orderly condition for employees, customers, and visitors.
Basic job functions include but are not limited to:
Clean assigned rooms, areas, hallways, etc.Remove garbage and empty trash cans / dumpsters.Restock supplies in lunchrooms, janitorial closets, restrooms, wash area, and other designated areas as needed.Report building repairs to Custodial Coordinator / Facilities Manager.Follow written and verbal instructions from Custodial Coordinator / Facilities Manager.Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures to assure a clean and safe work environment is promoted and maintained.Provide quality in all goods and services delivered to internal and external customers through an approach of thorough planning, responsible implementation, and continuous improvement.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that interfaces well with customers, clients, co-workers, and management members.Perform other requested duties and projects as assigned.Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of a High School Degree / GEDPrevious Custodial experience preferred.Valid driver’s licenseKnowledge of all aspects of custodial work, including the ability to safely use cleaning chemicals, including but not limited to glass cleaners, disinfectants, toilet bowl cleaners, floor soaps, floor finishes, strippers, degreaser, waxes, de-limer, etc.Knowledge of cleaning equipment including but not limited to hand brooms, push brooms, dust mops, wet mops, mop bucket and wringer, vacuums, carpet extractors, automatic scrubbers, burnishers, automatic sweepers, side to side scrubbers, buffers, surface cleaners and recycling bins.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to think quickly and react with a strong sense of urgency to resolve issues.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work voluntary, mandatory and on call overtime, which may include weekends and holidays.Ability to work at heights.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $18-23 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
