Job Summary

Hardware design Engineer for DC/DC and Inverter

Roles and Responsibilities

Hardware electronic design for DC/DC and Inverters for fuel cell and electrical vehicle applicationAnalyze feasibility of RB internal and customer requirementsHardware schematic design/simulations including control board, driving circuit, IGBT etc.PCB layout design and product integrationAble to test and do measurements in the lab.Perform product performance test and endurance testPerform product EMC test and analysisProduct safety design according to normPower module thermal conduct calculation and simulationSupport analysis of test samples and workout quality improvement solutions for HWMake innovative proposals and suggest cost improvement in circuit design/product strategySupport project leader in defining and controlling the resource plan, the budget plan and the time schedule for hardware sub-projectCommunication with supplier and customer for Hardware

QualificationsMaster degree or above in Electronics/Electrical/ Mechatronics/Instrumentation/Computer, etc.Basic understanding of automotive components and control systemKnowledge of electrical vehicle E/E architecture and Power train topology , Fuel cell knowledge is a plusKnowledge of electrical motor and its controlDeep knowledge in the electronic: convert/invert topology, MCU, FPGA, power supply, IGBT, etc.Simulators capable to optimize the product in term of performance/efficiency/size etc.Design for product performance and EMC testKnowledge of functional safety designCan use professional software (e.g. Altium Designer /Cadence)Self-motivated, excellent communication skills and team spiritEnglish written and verbalWillingness to work and interact in international team
